The manufacturing process
One coordinated process towards the required operation
In machine building, individual components must work together. Douna coordinates the required disciplines around that interaction. Technical development can form part of the assignment; an existing design can also directly serve as the starting point.
Define delivery in advance
An assignment can include components, a module, an assembly or a complete machine. Engineering, production, assembly, testing and documentation are determined for each assignment. This clarifies the design and assessment required at delivery.

In practice
ESMER flowmeters Middle East
- The requirement
- The process conditions required a specific configuration that had to be ready for immediate use after installation for the customer in the Middle East.
- The work
- Douna configured and built the two units and performed flow testing and calibration at its own site, with the client present.
- The result
- Two units configured, tested and calibrated for the customer, delivered for the intended process conditions.
Frequently asked questions
Practical questions about assembly and machine building
Can an existing design serve as the starting point?

Does the assignment have to include a complete machine?
No. Delivery can also consist of components, a module or an assembly. The required work and responsibilities are defined in advance.
